A sixteen-year-old with a shotgun stormed a Bend, Oregon elementary school Thursday afternoon and killed three children aged five, eight and eleven and a teacher before he was himself killed by an armed bystander who happened to be a parent with two children at the school. New York Governor Kathy Hochul has appointed Attorney General Letitia James to investigate the reopened case pf alleged gang rape at Cornell University in 2024. According to reports, Tompkins County Attorney Mathew Van Houten's original investigation into the allegations relied on a report provided by Cornell police, which left out part of the victim's, Jane Doe, interview with investigators where she said she was raped.
