KQED is a news/talk radio station that serves the Northern California community with informative and educational content. It is an NPR-member, allowing its listeners to listen live to the most popular syndicated shows from this radio station using the 88.5 and 89.3 FM frequencies as well as via online live streaming and podcast.

Its line-up comprises local, national and international news reports featuring traffic updated by Joe McConnell, educational shows on arts, culture and lifestyle and talk shows where experts analyze the latest news on education, politics, finance, and society.
